The Student Space Exploration and Technology Initiative Association is a miniature, education oriented space agency that gathers young dedicated enthusiasts with one common passion - SPACE. Currently, more than 500 students from more than 15 universities, located mostly in European countries and Canada, participate in our present and past projects. By its existence the association provides a dynamic and exciting environment in which these students can increase their contacts with this growing network. The first satellite involving these students, SSETI Express, was launched in October 2005 and the students are now working on getting another projects launched in next few years. The association is now in a transition phase of its activities with educational goals in mind. The plans are to provide more different exciting opportunities to young dedicated enthusiasts from various fields - not only science and engineering but also finance, law and others. Our motto is 'Let's launch the dream!' - would you like to join us? |
